Assembly and Finishing

It is very unusual for APL to supply just a casting. The requirements of a customer vary greatly from preparing the casting for paint application to a very high visual standard, or supplying fully assembled components, with minimal processing by the customer. A USF Wheelabrator shot blasting machine has recently been installed, to replace the traditional manual deburring operations. Pressure testing, to customer specifications are carried out at APL, we also incorporate failsafe defect and gauging tests throughout the finishing and assembly operations.
